Tip 1 : The worksheets are arranged in a progressive manner to scaffold on skills learned. Start with colouring first and encourage moving hands in different directions. Followed by tracing and ensure that child is able to trace diagonal lines before proceeding with matching worksheets.

Tip 2 : Print a set and put them in plastic sleeves so child can practise with whiteboard markers. It can be easily erased, reusable and saves paper!

Tip 3 : Ensure child is able to complete one set independently before moving to the next. This builds confidence!

Tip 4 : Remember, before children learn to use fingers for writing skills, ensure they are given plenty of opportunity to work on exercises that strengthen core muscles, shoulders, elbows and wrist first. And always start with scribbling, colouring, erasing, sharpening pencils etc prior to the start of tracing!
